Paradeep College
Paradip, Odisha (January 12, 2025) - The Paradip College Alumni Association, in association with Paradip College, organized a Golden Jubilee Walkathon on Sunday, January 12, 2025, to kick start the 50th Anniversary Celebrations of the College. The walkathon was organized in conjunction with the National Youth Day to spread the message of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations to be held from February 7 to 9, 2025 at the college premises.
The walkathon was inaugurated by Sj. Sampad Chandra Swain, Hon'ble Minister of Industry, Skill Development & Technical Education, and Hon'ble M.P. Jagatsinghpur, Sj. Bibhu Prasad Tarai, both alumni of Paradip College. Other dignitaries present included Sj. Basanta Biswal, Chairman, Paradip Municipality & President of the Alumni Association, Sj. Goutam Kumar Nayak, Secretary of the Alumni Association, and Sj. Rabindra Kumar Das, a senior member of the association.
The walkathon started from Paradip College, passed through Nuabazar and Badapadia and ended at the college. More than 500 students, alumni, faculty and staff of Paradip College participated in the event.
A press conference was also held to spread the message of the upcoming Golden Jubilee celebrations. The press conference was also an occasion to launch the digital platform of Paradip College Alumni Association website and social handles. Hon'ble Minister of Industries and Hon'ble M.P. Jagatsinghpur urged all to cooperate in the upcoming Golden Jubilee celebrations.
